On July 23, 2021 Yngwie Malmsteen released his 22nd album "Parabellum".
A new song from an upcoming album by virtuoso guitarist Yngwie Malmsteen.
This is Malmsteen's first album in two years, since his blues album "Blue Lightning" which included cover versions of artists such as Jimi Hendrix, "Deep Purple", "ZZ Top", George Harrison, "The Rolling Stones", and more.
The album contains 10 songs, 4 of which will also include vocals. Yngwie promises that all the sounds we will listen to on the album will emanate from the guitar, even those we are sure are piano or keyboards.
The song "Wolves at the Door" which also the opening track is fast and furious, a combination of speed metal and neo-classical with a little wink to one of Malmsteen's favorite composers - Nicolò Paganini.
The album was recorded during the Covid-19 crisis and there is no information as to the musicians who participated in it, so we assume that Yngwie does almost everything himself.
