Bon Scott’s Last Performance with AC/DC

On January 27, 1980, singer Bon Scott made his last performance with "AC/DC".

This was the last show in the tour to promote the masterpiece album "Highway To Hell". It was held at the "Gaumont Club" in Southampton, England.


The performance was scheduled to take place on December 18, 1979, but for no apparent reason, it was delayed to January 27, 1980.


Of course, no one knew this was going to be Bon Scott's last show with the band.

On February 7, 1980, Scott will perform with the band in איק "Top of the Pops" the TV show.


On February 15, he will join the Young Brothers in the studio for an initial session on two new songs that will later be included on the album "Back In Black".


However, on February 19, 1980, Bon Scott would drink heavily and lose consciousness, and died in the vehicle of his friend, Alistair Keener, parked outside of Keener's house.


Bon Scott's death was determined a day later on February 20, 1980, when the official cause of death was alcohol poisoning.
