The Sex Pistols - Anarchy In The UK

The day anarchy broke out !!

On November 26, 1976, the first and revolutionary single from "The Sex Pistols" was released and its title speaks for itself - "Anarchy in the U.K".

This is the debut single from the band's debut album "Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols", which was released in October 1977.

This song was one of the hallmarks of a musical and even social revolution in the 70s in England.

The song entered the 56th place in the list of the 500 greatest songs of all time by "Rolling Stone's Magazine" and also entered the list of the 500 songs that shaped rock and roll, in the "Rock and Roll Hall of Fame".

The single came out under the EMI record label, which dumped the band a month and a half later for using blatant and rude language during a TV show.

Because the song allegedly encouraged violence against the UK government, the band had a hard time finding a record company that would agree to release their debut album, which was released only a year later.
